Aint Easy Being Green for Stephen Morse (C’07)

Can a non-Whartonite undergrad get funding from Wharton to create a documentary?

Sure can.

Ask Stephen Morse (C’07, Daily Pennsylvanian). Through the Wharton Venture Initiation Program, recent grad (and Pennfest 2007 selectee), Stephen Morse (C’07, Daily Pennsylvanian) was able to start Morse-Levin Productions and create Ain’t Easy Being Green, his documentary about the controversial 2006 Pennsylvania Senate race.

(…Another Penn connection here. Before forming MLP, Stephen worked at Ben Katz Productions as the senior post-production assistant for the films Johnny Was and Nailed.)

Stephen is currently looking for a distributor for his 82 minute senior thesis documentary. Alumni out there.. .got any leads for him?

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
