Augmenting My Reality: My Project for the Olympics (VIDEO)

Posted on by in 1996

OlympicsAs you may have noticed, over the past 2 months I haven’t been posting on DT as frequently as I would like. The reason for this is because I was producing some very cool a u g m e n t e d   r e a l i t y (“AR”) projects that have kept me very busy.

Don’t know what this new technology is? Per Wikipedia, it’s “a term for a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery.”

Still don’t get it?

Check out the video above to see some random people engaging with a very cool window kiosk I produced for Yahoo for the Vancouver Olympics that was up and running over the past 2 weeks. Having produced three other engaging projects like this (one for In Style magazine and one for the Army), I can tell you it really is amazing to see all the different ways AR can help engage the consumer!

Let me know if any of you are interested in learning more about this technology for your businesses!

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
