UPenn and Cheap Bastard's Guide to Los AngelesPer Ashley,

The Cheap Bastard’s Guide to Los Angeles is a book that is part of a popular travel series, but is unique in that it is written for both natives and visitors to Los Angeles.  And in this day and age (meaning in this economy), we all need to be live smart and be cheap bastards!  🙂  I love LA and have spent quite a bit of time there.  When I was hired, the opportunity to write a guide book with a sense of humor all about the City of Angels was too good to turn down!  LA has so many free and inexpensive ways to enjoy it.”

The Cheap Bastard’s Guide to Los Angeles will show you:

  • Live tapings of your favorite TV comedy stars, talk show hosts, or game shows
  • Entrance to screenings at film fests, plays, movies, concerts, and comedy clubs
  • Museums, zoos, pools, and other great places for family fun
  • Classes of all sorts, including dancing, arts & crafts, and yoga
  • Happy hours and meals, whether fish tacos or fried chicken, sushi or Korean barbecue
  • Haircuts, facials, makeovers, or massages

Plus, Ashley will be promoting the book this week in Los Angeles:

As mentioned above, facebook “like” this article and/or tweet about it with hashtag “#ashleypennbook and win a copy of the book! (a random winner will be selected and I will get in touch with you to get your address – Contest ends next Tuesday, 10/11!)
