Norm Golightly (W’94) produces next Nicolas Cage film: The Wrestler

Norm Golightly (W’94, Mask and Wig) will be producing Darren Aronofsky’s drama The Wrestler starring Nicolas Cage.

Per Variety, “the story centers on a a 1980s-era wrestling star, who scrapes by doing small-time matches in New Jersey’s backwaters.”

Norm currently runs Nicolas Cage’s production company Saturn Films. I have known Norm since our Mask and Wig days and it’s been great to see all the success he’s had. For those of you reading this now, Norm actually wrote/created the “nude” bit that the Mask and Wig troupe performs to this day every spring fling.
