Penn Alum Chats it up with Madonna (VIDEO)
NY’s WPIX (Penn alum) journalist Emily Frances recently interviewed Madonna
and her daughter Lola at the debut of the teenager’s new exclusive Macy’s clothing line “Material Girl.” Apparently the clothing line is 80’s inspired.

When I asked Emily what it was like meeting the Queen of Pop, she tells me,
“As someone who sees Madonna every Saturday at Kabbalah Shabbat in NY, I’ve always sat behind her but have never actually spoken to her. I did spend some time with Lola at Yom Kippur and am always impressed at what a polite, normal, grounded young woman she is, as well as her siblings. When I interviewed them on the red carpet, Lola recognized me from services and Madonna as well gave me a very warm, engaging smile. Say what you will about Madonna, but she has done a fabulous job of raising her children.”
