[ssba]

unnamed-6
Amanda Shur (C’16)
College 2016
Cinema Studies and Theater Arts
Philadelphia, PA.
Amanda’s passion for film and television began with high school theater. Since then, she has explored brand ambassador work with Life In Color and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, and completed the Penn Summer Humanities Internship in Cinema Studies. Amanda continues to follow her passion for theater as a makeup designer for Theatre Arts Council productions and Social Chair of Front Row Theatre Company. This summer she is looking forward to her Real Arts Internship with the entertainment PR firm Shore Fire Media. In the future, Amanda hopes to be involved in television marketing and promotion or public relations. For now, she continues to enjoy television shows with strong female leads such as Scandal, The Mindy Project, Broad City, and Orange is the New Black. Her favorite Penn tradition is Spring Fling, due to both the history and tradition associated with the event.

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
