Paul Batterman (E’17)
Engineering 2017
Digital Media Design
Princeton, NJ.
Paul has been interested in graphic and theatrical design since high school. He remembers exploring Adobe Photoshop as a child, which grew into an strong passion for graphic and digital design. Early in high school, Paul became involved in his high school theatre program by building and painting sets. His sophomore year, his high school was selected to take their show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He was able to pack up the set he designed and take it to Scotland to be showcased on an international stage. On campus, Paul has worked with Front Row and Quadramics theatre companies, as well as the One Acts Theatre Festival. He loves the challenge of creating physical and digital spaces, and enjoys applying this passion to his technical coursework. Although Paul does not currently plan on pursuing theatre or fine art as a career, he wants to find a path that allows him to apply his passion for design to a technical field.

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
