PERFORMING ARTS

Emily Ruderman (C’14) is a Long Island native voted by the school “most likely to live her life in 140 characters or less.” It should come as no surprise, then, that Emily was the social media marketing intern for ButNowWhat.com and is currently the marketing communications intern at the Walnut Street Theater. Catch Emily acting and singing her heart out on stage with the Penn Singers and Dischord A Cappella– you can check out her latest performance with Dischord here.

Aizhaneya Carter (C’17) is a Philly native majoring in Communication and minoring in French. She has worked at the Walnut Street Theater and is currently the producer for the African American Arts Alliance’s spring show AIDA: The Musical. While becoming Olivia Pope is a dream of Azheneya’s, she plans to take a Macklemore-esc approach to the stage, using her love for the arts to stimulate social impact.

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
-Lisa Niver C’89
