TV
Hanna Bottger (C’14) & Dakota Chandler (C’14) are the dynamic duo presidents of Penn UTV who spearheaded its revival and launch to cyberspace with pennutv.com. To complement their theoretical Communication degrees, Hanna and Dakota gain practical, hands-on production experience as the co-heads of Penn’s premier student-run television channel. In addition, Dakota and Hanna have interned with Alli Shearmur (C’87) and NBC’s “Today Show”, respectively, to sharpen their production skills.
Hayley Brooks (C’14) is a South Florida native double majoring in English and Cinema Studies. She splits her time between Philadelphia and Bikini Bottom, working as a project-based, part time employee at Nickelodeon. In addition, Hayley acts in the Vagina Monologues and co-writes a column for the DP. One of Hayley’s proudest moments? She “kind of held [her] own” when she met Tara Reid in the bathroom of Mr. Chow.
FILM
Kay Lu (C’15) is a Communication and Cinema Studies major from Hong Kong. She combines her love for production, marketing, and public relations in her role as head of publicity for the Vagina Monologues. Instead of kicking back on the beach, Kay has spent her summers interning at Alli Shearmur (C’87) Productions and other production companies and television networks in Beijing and Hong Kong.
