ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

PJ Lewis (C’99) builds brands and creates the future of play at Mattel.  After leading licensed entertainment properties like Batman and the $1 billion fashion brand Monster High, he currently oversees the Mattel games portfolio including UNO (did you know a pack of UNO is sold every three seconds?).  Day to day he builds community around the 55+ million people who play the UNO & Friends app around the world.  Play on campus (with the Ben Franklin statue or under The Button perhaps?) and post a picture here: http://instagram.com/uno.

CONDOLENCES

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Penn Alum Melissa Rivers on the passing of her iconic mother Joan Rivers.

Read Penn alum Jon Kean’s fond memories of Joan below:

“Remembering the best of times. Ivy Day 1989. Going to give speeches and Mrs. R was my warm up act. Fine, she spoke for 30 minutes and I spoke for 3, but she spoke first! Best quote?…”Remember, it’s not who you know…it’s whom”. Mrs. R was truly an inspiration. She worked harder than everyone else, was smarter than everyone else and she cared more than everyone else. She was brutally honest to a fault and I will always love her for that. Too many great memories to share here, but I know that what would be most important to her now is that we support Melissa and Cooper, today and forever. Love you Mrs. R.” – Jon Kean (C’89)

AND FINALLY…

A very special thanks goes to Joel Rubin (C’03, Mask and Wig) for the newest Penn Alumni You Should Know About graphic!

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
