Penntertainment

Did you see this Penn alum win on the Emmy stage tonight?

By the looks of my Facebook feed, just like previous year’s Emmys, there were a bunch of Penn alumni at tonight’s Emmy Ceremony.

If you caught the “Homeland” win for Best Drama tonight, you would have heard a thank you to writer and Penn alum Meredith Stiehm (C’90).

If you don’t know about Meredith, she’s had a great track record here in Hollywood. After the jump, find out more about the popular show that was her claim to fame.

Some more tidbits about Meredith: She was the creator and show runner for “Cold Case”. Additionally she won an emmy award in 1998 for “Outstanding Writing For a Drama Sereies” on NYPD Blue.

What People Are Saying

"Because of Penntertainment, I got scouted for Nickelodeon. I had such a great time talking with them. I may be a resource for a show on science, travel, geography, gender etc. Thanks for all you do. It really makes a difference."
