Nikhil Nirmel (W’08) has launched a new site that makes lawyers accessible to all types of individuals in need. Lawdingo is a legal-based startup that helps the underprivileged find a lawyer and lawyers find new clients. Sounds legit.
THEATRE
Jonah Platt (C’08, Off the Beat, Friars) has just been tapped to portray Jay Gatsby in LA’s hit show For the Record: Baz Luhrman. If you’re in the LA area see Jonah perform on the first three weekends in December. If you’re lucky, you may see him act opposite his real-life girlfriend, who plays the role of Daisy on several special nights. Additionally, Jonah has been nominated for a Broadway World LA award for his leading role in Bare: A Rock Musical. You can vote for him here.

Farhana Pargac (C’99) has just been recognized as a part of “Hollywood’s New Class” in The Hollywood Reporter. This honor is given to people to look out for in the entertainment industry. As a corporate finance executive at CAA, Pargac is true money.
