Their Music Brings Me Back to My Undergrad Laser Light Show Nights (+ Free Tickets!)
Last week, while I was hanging out with Kevin Bacon, I was chatting with his entourage and was turned on to a great UK Techno band called “The Egg” who will be playing in Philly later this week.
The Egg can best be compared to a mix of Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Primal Scream and Air. …When I listened to them (below- my favorite is “Wall”), it suddenly brought me back to my undergrad days of seeing the Pink Floyd laser light show at the Franklin Institute planetarium. Definitely some good times! (Anyone else with me on this?)
The Egg will be playing this Friday, October 30, 2009 at 941 Theatre in Philly.
