Jordan Rodnizki (C’16) is a rising junior from Clearwater, FL majoring in Theatre Arts and English with an emphasis in Cinema Studies. At Penn, Jordan is a cast member of Mask and Wig. This summer he is interning at Marc Platt Productions in LA.

Why Marc Platt Productions?: The company has produced successful works in both the realms of film (Legally Blonde, Wanted) and theater (Wicked, If/Then), and I wanted to explore development and producing work in both fields.

Take Us Through A Normal Day: A normal day consists of completing coverage on new scripts that are submitted to the office, analytical work on current projects the company owns, and various other special assignments, such as compiling research packets, that come up from time to time.

What’s Your Favorite Part?: The fact that the execs are eager to hear interns’ ideas and opinions and that we have the opportunity to perform the actual work of a producer.
